Shoothill’s pioneering Churchill Deep Zoom project for the Imperial War Museum was featured on BBC News on Saturday in Kate Russell’s ‘Webscape’ segment on their flagship technology show, BBC Click.
The project forms part of a standalone exhibit in the Churchill War Rooms, as well as online on the Churchill War Rooms website.
Shoothill’s Marketing Manager, Lara Page, said: “As far as we know, this is the first national news coverage of Microsoft Silverlight’s deep zoom technology in the country, so we’re delighted it was featured on Click.
“We’re hoping the mosaic will inspire other museums and arts venues to follow suit and make the most of this amazing technology.”
