With the last ever series of Big Brother hitting screens tonight, MSN have unveiled an interactive picture gallery featuring some of the most memorable housemates since the show first began.

The gallery, created by Silverlight specialists Shoothill, allows users to zoom into a giant image of the Big Brother eye to reveal hundreds of pictures of housemates and sets from the reality TV series.

See it live at http://tv.uk.msn.com/reality-tv/big-brother/big-brother-house-deep-zoom.aspx – users can navigate around it by dragging the image in different directions or zooming in to see the housemates in greater detail.

The mosaic is just one of many Silverlight projects Shoothill have done this year, having recently completed the world’s largest Deep Zoom for Fauna and Flora International and an interactive tribute wall of Winston Churchill for the Imperial War Museum.

“Silverlight technology is ideal for showcasing things like Big Brother, as it allows us to display a large amount of content in a compelling and interactive way,” says Shoothill’s Marketing Manager, Lara Page.

“We have a wonderful working relationship with MSN and we were pleased to be asked to produce something to celebrate Big Brother’s last ever series. Whether you love or loathe the show, you can’t deny it’s made TV history!”

The final series of Big Brother launches on Wednesday 9th June on Channel 4.
